Species: quarian, which means that she is a technologically brilliant alien who is lowkey allergic to everything.

Due to a three-century feud with robots made in their image, quarian immune systems have atrophied, making environmental suits very necessary to make sure a tiny cold or infection won't kill them. She has a slightly more robust immune system than she used to because of all the trouble she's gotten into and has tech in her body that integrates with her suit to help her out, so a suit breach or taking part of it off around someone else won't kill her (probably), but Tali is always going to be cautious with her health and so is going to take some time to feel comfortable taking her suit off around anyone but especially new people.

Other notes on quarians: they're generally built like slight, but very sturdy humans, aside from backwards-bowed legs and having three digits per limb. Tali's face can partially be made out behind her mask and aside from white eyes, her facial features are very human-like. Additionally, anyone familiar with Legion will be able to tell that the geth were modeled off of quarians, as there are definite similarities there.
